Anguilla Dog and cat Wash March 17, 2018
Event Photos
Thanks once again to our wonderful volunteers at the Saint James School of Medicine and Morlens Veterinary Clinic for helping us host another dog/cat/puppy/kitten wash and vaccination clinic.
We set a new record for attendees who brought dogs, puppies and even a few cats to be given a free flea/tick shampoo, vet examination and vaccination. At least 85 baths were given (including 5 cats) and 83 vaccinations were given, both new records!
As part of the St. James student and Morlens Veterinary Clinic Community Outreach projects, the following were offered:
- Free medicated shampoo and wash (to remove fleas and ticks) was performed by the students. AARF supplied the shampoo and other washing gear and the students did the washing and talking with the owners.
- Free vaccination clinic hosted by AARF. Any eligible dog or cat got a free vaccination and exam by Morlens vet, Dr. Goldson. A total of 83 were done. Rhaine was also there to help.
- Hot dogs, drinks and snacks were sold by St. James students as a fundraiser for their graduation ceremony.
Thanks go to the St. James Student and Morlens for this great event.
