The AARF logo shows three animals on a yellow AARF life raft, floating on the sea with gray clouds; sunlight peeks down on them, representing hope.

We have a fine selection of nice threads for women, men and children.

We sell them at our Adoption Center/Shelter, at SeaSpray (map) (where you can also get a great smoothie and other great gifts/souvenirs) and at our Second Chances Thrift Store (info and map) when it is open.

Styles and Designs

We had a design contest asking for new designs for AARF goodies and got many great submissions. In fact, we needed to declare two winners. And now we have put winning designs onto shirts and hats. (See below for more information about the contest and the winners.)

AARF adult unisex, ladies and child T-shirts are US$20 for adult and ladies; children sizes are US$15. AARF will gladly ship to the US with items purchased via PayPal (contact us for details). Thanks to unpaid model volunteer Luna as well.

Here are some examples of the shirts and hats:

New Design Contest and Winners

We had a design contest asking for new designs for AARF goodies and got many great submissions. Here are three of them that we are rolling out onto shirts and hats.

Mike Raso submitted winning designs we call Heart and Wavy. Citicia Smith was a winner with one we call Tropical. The designs look like this:

About the artists:

Mike Raso is a Washington, D.C. based creative director/designer, who “strongly supports all of the great work that AARF does”. He was first introduced to AARF when he got married in Anguilla in 2002. He and his wife rescued a small kitten (Guilla) and, after she was checked out out by the wonderful staff at Morlens Veterinary Clinic, brought her back to Washington, D.C. He says “Guilla is an important part of the family that now includes two young daughters who spoil Guilla to no end”.

Citicia Smith is a freelance artist located in Columbus, Ohio who loves the art of storytelling. As an illustrator, she works creativity to inspire, encourage, or just have fun. She was introduced to AARF through a co–worker. She tells us she “is proud to be associated with this great organization”. Check out her citiciasmith web site as well as her Facebook page.

We thank both and love their work!

Late 2014 AARF logo shirts

We have more tee shirts with the AARF logo. They come in different colors.

Stanczyk Design

Well loved, this very fun design decorates our T-shirts and hats thanks to long–time AARF supporter and adopter, Steve Stanczyk who was with Kramer Printing near Madison Wisconsin.

Steve previously designed AARF’s very popular Long Dog t–shirt.

At the shelter and SeaSpray, you can find shirts for women, men and children. Some examples are:
