April 2005 Adoptions

Banki & Banx were found at West End by Liz, Paul and Hans who wanted them to stay together. Luckily Fiona saw them and fell in love with both!  Bob and John looked  just alike! They were adopted in April too.

Ginger Adopted December 2004

Sugar was adopted and spayed by her new owner. Her kittens also all found homes. Our many thanks to Bethany and Gerry Riskin for providing a foster home for this little family until they could be adopted.  Bethany provided photographs and descriptions of each one while they were with her.

SUGAR—female. I named the mother Sugar because she is soooo sweet!
She was appreciative of our care from the very first moment she stepped
out of the crate, amazingly not afraid, instead, purring loudly and
rubbing affectionately against our legs. She is a superb hunter and is
even quick to pounce upon cockroaches and quickly dispose of them.
Sugar is the definition of the ideal, loyal companion, following us
everywhere we go and talking in sweet little noises. She will be a
superb pet to someone who wants a true friend and one of the best cats
we have encountered.

AMBER—male. Amber melts like butter the minute he is picked up; he
follows me around and is always at my feet. Perennially inquisitive
and ready to play, Amber is a constant delight who was one of my
favorites from the very first day. The ginger (orange tabby) cats
somehow always seem to be the most loving.

SHEENA—female is the beauty of the lot.
From day one she has run out to me the minute I entered the kitty
romper room and climbed onto my feet.  Sheena
is incredibly playful and bright—probably the smartest of the litter.
She is going to be a gorgeous, elegant, delightful cat.

SNOWBALL—male. Snowball is a bright, puffy little thing filled with
affection and playful antics. Snowball doesn't walk, he bounces across
the floor conspiring to pounce. He is a delight of the first order
encompassing everything one has ever wanted in a kitten. He will be
big and stunningly beautiful.

VALENTINO—male. Valentino has personality coming out of every whisker.
He is the instigator of play and hides behind bottles, boxes and
cushions to ambush his siblings. Along with Einstein, he was one of
the first to begin to explore and come out to play. Valentino promises
to be stately, aristocratic and ingenious.

ANGEL—female. Angel came by her name because her fur is as soft as
angel's hair. She is the one who comes pattering into our bedroom and
mews, looking up at the bed in hopes of being picked up. She is a
sweetheart of the first order.

EINSTEIN—male. This little guy has been the boldest of the litter,
venturing out to explore when the others remained huddled in their
lair. He is a puff ball with medium-length fur who melts at the
slightest touch. Every time I pick him up I want to sing "Fuzzy Wuzzy
was a bear." Bethany adopted Einstein!
